José Luis Alvarez is the Managing Director of IPM. He is passionate about the world of renewable energy and has worked on developing and building wind and photovoltaic plants in the UK, Spain, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Ecuador. José has over a decade of renewable energy experience, initially qualifying as a Telecommunications Engineer, with a focus on Business Administration and Management with an Executive MBA and Post Graduate Degree specializing in International Business, Politics and Finance with a final year at Georgetown University in the USA.

José combines his passion for renewable energy with a passion for the wine industry and has become a specialist in viticulture, oenological quality control, logistics, regulations, marketing and international wine sales. José Luis created MGH Wines Group in 2016, of which he is a member of the board of directors.

José is fluent linguist in Spanish, English, Italian and Portuguese.
